So, What Exactly is YLF?
Youth Leadership Forum (YLF) is a 4 day and 3 night leadership forum for high school youths with disabilities that takes place at UConn's Storrs campus.

Is the Forum Only for Students with Certain Disabilities?
NO WAY! YLF is open to all High School students with any disability. Students, however, must plan on returning to school for at least one additional year. (Sorry Seniors! Gotta share what you learn!) This is a forum about you showing us your leadership skills, .... not your disability!

How Much Will This Cost?
Absolutely NOTHING! This is a FREE program for students. We spend the whole year fundraising for this week-long event!

What if I Get Sick or Need to Take Medication?
No worries! We have a nurse on hand during the whole week of the Forum.

What If I Need an Accommodation?
Just let us know on your application, and we'll take it from there. Don't worry, we've got you COVERED! Some examples of accommodations we have provided are: interpreters, personal care assistants (PCA's), large print, and braille!)
